National Biodigester Programme (NBP) is a joint programme between the Cambodia Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and the Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV). The programme has activities in the fields of promotion and marketing, construction, repair and maintenance, quality control, Research and Development, training and workshop, bio-slurry extension, monitoring and evaluation.
Promotion and marketing is a task undertaken by individual contractors and mason teams as well as NGO and Provincial Programme Offices. The NBP office undertakes supporting activities like the development and production of posters, brochures, leaflets, DVDs and the broadcasting of messages in national media.

We are presently (2010) working in 11 provinces, Kampong Cham, Kandal, Svay Rieng, Takeo, Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Kampot, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, Pursat and Battambang. Besides the three provinces, Kampot, Kandal and Prey Veng Provincial Biodigester Programme are implemented by CEDAC, the other 9 are implemented by the Provincial Department of Agriculture.
